Agenda: Proyecto trans*plant

Trans*Plant es un proyecto transdisciplinar, iniciado por Quimera Rosa en
2016 y que sigue activo, basado en sistemas vivos y en la
auto-experimentación. Es un proceso que compromete un cuerpo en una
transición “humana > planta” y que utiliza para esto varios formatos.
Trans*Plant pone en dialogo disciplinas como arte, filosofía, biología,
ecología, física, botánica, medicina, enfermería, farmacología y
electrónica. Mediante diversas prácticas de bio-hacking, Trans*Plant se
inscribe en los debates en curso sobre la noción de Antropoceno, desde una
perspectiva no basada sobre “el excepcionalismo humano y el individualismo
metodológico”, sino que aborda el mundo y sus habitantes como el producto
de procesos cyborg, de devenir con, de simpoiesis.

Un proceso de transición humana > planta que incluye un protocolo de
intravenosa de clorofila, y mediante las fantasías, miedos y juicios que
eso genera, abre el debate sobre el sistema identitario que está en juego.
Un proceso de autoexperimentación que no tiene nada de individual, puesto
que las personas que la acompañan transitan con ella. Conseguir una
molécula pura de clorofila plantea las mismas trabas por parte de la
industriafarmacéutica y biomédica y del sistema legal y sanitario que
conseguir testosterona. Es el conjunto mismo de la vida que se encuentra
patentado.

Equipo de sensibilización / Awareness team

El Equipo de sensibilización (antes ¨Equipo de respuesta rápida¨) busca
crear conciencia sobre la violencia estructural y la discriminación.

Queremos contribuir a la construcción de posibilidades para el ejercicio de la corresponsabilidad.

Para garantizar que el Código de conducta del THF se tome en serio, estaremos:
* Apoyando a personas que enfrenten manifestaciones de violencia estructural o microagresiones durante el THF;
* Procurando evitar que quienes sean discriminades gasten energía en enseñar y explicar cómo les impacta la discriminación. Esto también significa enfrentar a quienes reproduzcan violencia estructural o microagresiones (de forma consciente o no) durante el THF;
* Asegurando que se respete el Código de conducta del THF y que haya seguimiento cuando se incumpla. Las personas trans-excluyentes, racistas, sexistas, etc. no pertenecen a este lugar.

El equipo de sensibilización no es un grupo de mediación para tratar
conflictos personales. Estamos aquí para abordar las situaciones que afecten el bienestar de quienes participamos en el THF.

Si en el encuentro estás enfrentando o has enfrentado alguna situación incómoda o intimidante/amenazante, no dudes en contactarnos:
* Llevamos una especie de bandera naranja en el brazo, puedes acercarte a nosotres.

The Awareness Team wants to raise awareness of structural violence and discrimination and to hold space for community accountability.

We want to ensure that the Code of Conduct is taken seriously by:
* Supporting people who experience structural violence or micro-agressions during THF and who ask for help;
* Releasing people who face discrimination from wasting their energy on teaching and explaining. This also means confronting people who reproduce structural violence or micro-agressions — knowingly or not — at THF;
* Making sure that people who obviously don’t respect the THF Code of Conduct are held accountable. Trans-exclusionary people, racists, sexists, etc do not belong here.

We also want to state that the Awareness team is not a mediation group for dealing with personal conflicts, however we are here to listen and address situations that affect people present at THF.

If you are experiencing behaviors that make you feel uncomfortable or threatened, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us:
* We wear an orange kinda flag thingy on our arm

* Come to our daily meeting at 20:30 at the Awareness room (Casaroja ground floor)

La serveuse féministe Coquillage, le collectif tribidou, ses électrons , l’émission de radio Les taties geeks, et des invité.es magnifiques ont occupé les ondes durant la semaine de convergence THF.
Chaque soir un live de 1h se propageait sur les ondes FM 107 de Calafou et dans les connexions internet à partir de https://tribidou.gendertrouble.net la web-radio experimentale de radiorageuses.
Programmes traduits en francais avec les voix originales.

The feminist server Coquillage, the tribidou collective, its electrons, the radio show Les taties geek and quality guests have occupied the airwaves during the week of convergence THF.
Each evening a live of 1 hour was propagated on the waves FM 107 of Calafou and in the Internet connections from https://tribidou.gendertrouble.org

Agenda: Feminist Mastodon instance

This workshop will give a brief introduction to the feminist Mastodon instance systerserver.town on the feminist Systerserver and invites everyone to join who would like to try it out.

Apart from briefly presenting the project and inviting everyone to use it it would be nice to have a conversation about how we can move forward with this feminist instance. It’s running but it’s still missing some details to truly become a piece of feminist infrastructure. Everyone who’s interested in Mastodon, social networks in general, discussions around codes of conduct or moderating feminist networks is invited to come – and if you’re just curious please come as well!

What is Mastodon?

In some ways it’s similar to Twitter, it’s a social network that lets you send messages to people who follow you and read messages by others. But it’s also very different because it’s a decentralized network that makes it possible to create specific communities that have their own rules and guidelines. At the same time you can connect with accounts from other such networks, called ‚instances‘. Mastodon allows each instance to have specific settings to create a an environment according to the needs of each community.

Apart from that there’s also some other difference, e.g. messages can have 500 characters instead of just 280!

Systerserver.town is alive and used by a few accounts but it’s still missing a good description to explain who it’s for and how we would like to see it being used to create a safe and friendly environment. In this workshop we can exchange ideas and good examples from other social networks to be included so that we can open up and invite others to start using it.

Agenda: Webs of power : Weave resistance

Este proyecto nació de dos años de investigación e investigación, vinculado a la historia de mi abuelo, Kazimierz Gaca. Era un resistente polaco, durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial y trabajó para descifrar mensajes nazis usando la máquina de escribir Enigma, que sería uno de los antepasados de la computadora.
Creé telas, gracias a un telar Jacquard, comparándolo con una computadora. Así es como relacione la máquina Enigma y el telar, que tienen en común un lenguaje en el origen del código binario. Los tejidos ocultan mensajes, mediante la introducción de un alfabeto en su estructura y en sus símbolos.

Quiero compartir mi trabajo en un grupo, de forma de una demostración de interacción entre mi tejido y Processing y Ableton. Luego, quiero invitar a cada une de les participantes a crear su propia letra, representada por un símbolo personal de la resistencia. Lo traduciremos en un código binario que desde entonces materializaremos en un pequeño tejido.
El objetivo es crear un alfabeto codificado y materializarlo en un lenguaje no verbal y compartir archivos personales de resistencia.
